Mithun Chakraborty

Mithun Chakraborty is a Bengali Indian award winning bollywood actor. Mithun Chakraborty born as Gouranga Chakraborty on the 16th of June 1950.

Mithun Chakraborty is also social activist and an indian entrepreneur.

Mithun first acting role was in 1976 with the arthouse drama Mrigaya. In that same year Chakraborty won his first National Film Award as a Best Actor.

Since the 1980 Mithun got a lot of media attention and a huge fan base.

Mithun Chakraborty is mostly known for his role as a street dancer named Jimmy in the movie Disco Dancer released in the year 1982.
