3awatef is a fictional character played by May Sahab.

3awatef is a host on the TV program La2la2a, which airs on Orange Television - OTV and is co-hosted with Tarek Soueid.

Her full name is 3awatef Jiyyeche, sometimes also written Awatef. She is partly inspired by Maguy Farah especially with the short blond hair, although lately she is frequently seen in a long curly brushing. She portrays the irritatingly pretentious presenter that speaks in a very slow and obnoxious way. Although the idea was fun at the start, May sometimes overdoes it and tend to become lame, 'really' becoming that obnoxious presenter!
