AJ Abualrub is an American model from Arab descent.

AJ Abualrub‘s real name is Ahmad Jalal Abualrub (Ahmad Jamal Abualrub in some sources) and was born in Manila Philippines on June 20 1987 to an Arabic father (who worked as a translator) and a Cleveland-born mother of German descent.

Most people think the Kentucky raised model would have either Lebanese, Syrian, Jordanian or even Egyptian origins, but actually he’s Saudi Arabian! AJ Abualrub grew up in eight different countries with six siblings before his family moved to Orlando, Florida, in early 2001.
AJ Abualrub used to wrestle back in high school and dropped a few pounds to get to his current shape, as he was much bigger before. He went from bouncer at local clubs to gradually becoming one of the leading male models in the Fashion Industry.

His career took off after he was named a semi-finalist for the VMAN and Ford Modeling Agency men's model search.

AJ Abualrub was the former face of Calvin Klein, and currently one of the most sought after male runway models in most Fashion Weeks like in Milan (d’management group), Paris (Success Models), New York (Ford Models), London (Nevs), Copenhagen (Scoop Models), and Hamburg (SPIN Model Management)… In his first appearances, AJ Abualrub was labeled the male version of the Ice Queen; with his stone cold manners, pale white powdered skin, captivating blue eyes, and bleached platinum hair! That look was mostly for Calvin Klein, and gradually faded with time into a more classical one.

AJ Abualrub has worked for some of the most prominent brands and fashion designers including, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce&Gabbana, Frankie Morello, Trussardi, Armani, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Thierry Mugler , Bottega Veneta, Les Hommes, Neil Barrett, Givenchy and Levi’s. He was also featured in prints and editorial magazine photo shoots for Joop, Macy’s, Barney's, Uniqlo , V Man, V Magazine, CQ Style, Esquire, etc…

AJ Abualrub might not look like your typical Arab, but he speaks Arabic fluently!
