Cheb Hasni

Cheb Hasni was a performer of Algerian Rai song. His full name was Cheb Hasni Chakroun, He was born on the 1st of February 1968 and he died on the 29th of September 1994.

Cheb Hasni was very famous in North Africa. He was mostly famous and has the peak of his career between the late 80s and early 90s.

Cheb Hasni was the son of a welder and grew up in a working class family where he was one of seven children.

Hasni was mostly known for his songs related to love, but he also had other serious matters to sing about including taboo issues like drugs, divorce and drinking alcohol.
