Loka Zahir

Loka Zahir also known as Luka Zaher is a singer from Kurdistan Erbil. In 2014 she became very famous the in the arab world after releasing an arabic song entitled "Shokran Shokran".

Her discography includes eight albums to date in the kurdish language. Her latest album contains the famous "Shokran Shokran" song.

The lyrics of "Shkran Shkran" were written by Hani El Saghir and its music was composed by Halkawt Zahir. The videoclip was directed by Lebanese director Fadi Haddad. People who have watched the video clip said that Loka resembled Hayfa Wehbeh to a great extent.

Loka Zahir is influenced by the Arabic culture and its myriad of artists. Her favorite classical singer from the Arab world is Asmahan.
