Nora Younis is an Egyptian journalist, blogger and activist.

Nora Younis is a Multimedia Editor at AlMasry AlYoum, working with reporters, photographers and caricaturists. She also oversees citizen journalism pages.

Nora Younis previously covered the Middle East for The Washington Post as well as other international print media.

Nora Younis is a prominent blogger and was awarded Human Rights First Award in New York 2008.

Nora is part of Kefaya.

As a member of the new National Coalition for Media Freedom, Nora Younis is currently helping to instigate the necessary structures for defending press freedom in Egypt and the rest of the Arab World.
