Wissam Hilal

Wissam Hilal is a Syrian singer who was born on the 14th of April 1989 in Damascus, Syria. His parents encouraged him to pursue his passion for singing and songwriting at an early age. His love for singing and music made him win many inter-school singing contests.

In 2007 Wissam moved to Beirut so he can create his image in the music industry. Though he was only eighteen years old, many people in the industry believed in him and offered him guidance.

In 2008 Wissam recorded and released his debut album containing eight original pop-rock tracks, entitled "You Belong To Me".

In January 2012, and after completing his university degree in English Literature, Wissam decided to move to Dubai and soon started working on his next album on an International level. It is worth mentioning that his first album was distributed locally between Lebanon and Syria only, which in esence makes his 2012 album the official debut album for Wissam Hilal.

From Dubai and under the management of Wajih Accary, Wissam collaborated with International producer Bryan Todd and Arab producer Dj Megayel.

The hit single "Single" which was released in late 2012, drew attention from all the fans. Wissam soon released a video clip for the song and gave it another push into the music scene. The clip was filmed in Dubai with director David Zennie and producer Tarik Tanner.

In 2012, Wissam collaborated with Miss Intercontinental, model and singer Nancy Afiouni. Their collaboration produced the hit song "Got Them Dancing".

2012 was a very good year for Wissam Hilal, as he got a lot of coverage in local magazines and interviews on many Radios and Music Televisions in the Middle East.
