Kim Jae Joong, known as Young Woong Jae Joong (Hero) is a famous Korean singer, lead vocalist of the boys band TVXQ (Dong Bang Shin Gi - Tohoshinki).

Youngwoong was born on February 4th 1986 in South Korea. His real name is Han Jaejoon , but was changed to Kim Jae Joong after he was adopted by the Kims family.

After working in a convenience store, delivering chicken, newspapers, and performing other manual labor, Kim Jae Joong’s fate changed at age 15 when he auditioned in Seoul for a leading Korean production house SM Entertainment. In 2003, Kim became the leading vocalist of the boys band TVXQ (Tong Vfang Xien Qi) known in Korea as Dong Bang Shin Gi. The group expanded its horizon in 2005 and was introduced to the Japanese market (as Tohoshinki), where they became an instant hit and topped most charts including Oricon a reference in that domain . The group’s greatest hits include “Purple Line”, "Doshite Kimi o Suki ni Natte Shimattandaro?”, and "Toki o Tomete".

Kim Jae Joong writes and composes some of the group’s tracks and also works on solo projects in parallel. He also sometimes collaborates with other groups such as the all girls Korean band The Grace.

Kim Jae Joong also appeared in a few Korean and Japanese TV series.

Kim Jae Joong has soft feminine features, highly praised is the Asian culture. He is often considered as one of the sexiest men in South Korea and Japan.
