The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) hosts every year an Award ceremony to honor the best Bollywood stars and highlight their greatest achievements for that year.
Toronto Canada was chosen for The IIFA 2011 award ceremony, in its 12th year of spreading the magic of Indian films across the world. The IIFA 2011 in Toronto is taking place between the 23rd and 25th of June 2011.
In addition to showcasing several Indian movie premieres, and the official awards ceremony, the weekend will be filled with fashion and music.
The Bay and top international designers, Sabyasachi, Rajesh Pratap Singh and Vikram Phadnis will feature their latest collections at the IIFA Rocks on the 24th of 2011.
Former IIFA Award-winning actor, producer and director Karan Johar, alongside beautiful Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma will co-host the Award ceremony.
The organizer of the event is Sabbas Joseph, Director of Wizcraft International Entertainment.
The 2011 celebrations will have over 800 big names from India, including the top artists of Indian films.
Unfortunately, after his two blockbuster movie "Dabangg" and "Ready", Salman Khan will not be attending the IIFA 2011, because he is engaged with his upcoming film "Bodyguard", which is expected to rock at the box-office this year.
