Sonam Kapoor was born on the 9th of June 1985 in Mumbai, India.

In 2007, Sonam Kapoor made her debut role as Sakina in the movie Saawariya opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She was Nominated for the Best Female Debut Award at the Filmfare Awards.

In the year 2009, Sonam Kapoor played the role of Bittu Sharma in the Bollywood movie Delhi-6 opposite Abhishek Bachchan.

In 2010, She took role in the movies Aisha and I Hate Luv Storys.
