Qana (also pronounced in arabic as Quana, Kana, or Cana) is a village located in the south east side of Tyre, a city in Southern Lebanon.
The village of Qana has been the target of two separate massacres in which the Israeli Defense Forces caused civilian deaths during military conflicts with Lebanon. The first Qana Massacre was done during the Operation Grapes of Wrath in 1996 and the second Qana Massacre occurred during 2006 Israel Attacks on Lebanon.
