Deir el Ahmar also known as Dayr Al Ahmar is a Lebanese town located around 100 km away from the Capital city Beirut.

Deir El Ahmar is 12 km northeast of the city of Baalbeck in the Bekaa Valley.

The population of Deir el Ahmar is 25000. Most of the population are Lebanese, from the Maronite Christians.
