Colleen Shannon is a well-known American model and the World’s Sexiest DJ.

Colleen Shannon, born in America on April the 14th of 1978, is half-Irish, half-Swedish. Originally from Alaska, she moved to California in high school.

In 2004, She became famous worldwide after being selected as the Playboy Playmate of the Month of January. In addition Colleen appeared on the 50th anniversary Playmate.

Colleen Shannon first started DJing as a hobby and was still a local Los Angeles DJ, when Hugh Hefner made her his 50th Anniversary Playmate in 2004. Since her collaboration with the iconic Playboy magazine, Colleen’s career took off as a professional DJ, model and actress.

Ms. Shannon has played all around the world including in famous clubbing capitals such as Beirut, Saint-Tropez, and Ibiza. She is especially noted for mixing styles. She often appears in magazines like Maxim, OK and Loaded. She has also starred in a few movies like the spoof Miss Cast Away, and also appeared on the ITV show Love Island in 2006.

Colleen Shannon released her first CD Red Hot 2010, with Sony Music. It features Shakira, Kelly Clarkson, Black Eyed Peas and Pink, among many others.

A legal dispute erupted in 2003, after one of Colleen's Independence High School yearbook photographs (taken at the El Dorado County school) was published in Playboy magazine for its 50th Anniversary issue. Mother Lode Photography and Carla Calkins filed a federal lawsuit against Playboy in November of 2006, when the magazine wanted to give her only $100 settlement for using her photograph. A federal judge dismissed the case and closed it in May 2008.
