Waleed Sokkar is an Egyptian model and aspiring actor.
Waleed Sokkar was born in Cairo on the 9th of December 1986, to a Belgian mother and an Egyptian father from Italian & Turkish parents. He studied Integrated Marketing Communication at the American University of Cairo (with a minor in theater ), before pursuing a masters in business economics in Belgium.
Waleed Sokkar originally worked for a while in Egypt as a voice over artist for radio ads, and a few short independent movies as well as TV commercials. During his numerous trips to Europe and the USA, he was spotted by talent scouts and photographers such as Edwin J'Lebron, Jorge Freire and Abel Cruz. This is when he decided to officially become a professional model.
Waleed will be moving to Miami to continue his modelling career in September 2011.
