Al Amir Al Saghir also known as Al Ameer Al Sagheer or Le Petit Prince du Liban is a famous singer from Lebanon.

Al Amir Al Saghir started his singing career in the late 70s and early 80s.

His most famous song is the hit Lebanese song Aa Tabbaa Almaz or Ala Taba Elmaz (which translates into: On a plate of diamonds). It was originally composed and sang by Melhem Barakat, before he made it his. Le Petit Prince also had hit songs like Kizabi, Shou Helwi Ya Jarenta, Merci Cheri, and many other songs composed by Elias el Rahbani.


Most of his songs marked an era and are part of the retro collections of many today, as they bring back old memories.

In 1992, Al Amir Al Saghir took part at the Midnight Sun Song Festival in Lahti, Finland (Keskiyön auringon laulufestivaali)). He sang in French 'Rappelles-toi, Mirou!'' and "Chasse ton chagrin".

In the late 90s and early 2000, Al Amir Al Saghir attempted a come back. He underwent a heavy re-looking to appear fresh and yound again, and released a remake of his song (3a tabaa almaz). He also shot a music video for it , along with another song Hala Hala.
