Azar Habib also known as Azar Habeeb is a famous Lebanese composer and singer who had his mark in the early 70s and 80s and later in the 90s.

Azar Habib was born on the 28th of November 1945 and he died on the 15th of November 2007. Azar Habib was born in village of Marjayoun in Lebanon.

He lived in Marjayoun until he was four years old and then his family moved to Beirut. He was mostly known for his love ballads and for mixing traditional Arabic music with modern western pop.

He was most popular in Lebanon and Syria. His song Saydali (Pharmacist) was very known accross the arab world.

Azar Habib died in Lebanon of a heart attack on Thursday the 15th of November 2007.
