Bassel Abou Hamdan was crowned as Mister International 2007 in Sarawak, Malaysia on December 31, 2007. He was also crowned as Mr. Lebanon 2007-2008.
Bassel Abou Hamdan was elected as the Third Runner up in Mr. International 2008 contest.
He also holds the Best National Custom Award and Best Beach Award which took place during the Mr. International 2008.
Bassel Abou Hamdan is considered as one of the Top five Models in Lebanon. He took part in many Fashion Shows, Advertisements, and Video clips.
Bassel also is a Rally Driver and won the title of Lebanese and Middle East Rally & Hill Climb Championship in frontwheel drive for year 2011 and 2nd in the championship of Lebanese Course Du Cout 2012. Appeared in all the Lebanese and MEA TV channels for that victory and one of the most interviews seen in February 9th 2012 on channel MTV Hadiss Al Balad program with the Best TV presenter in 2011-2012 Mona Abou Hamzeh. He also appeared in commercials for pert plus and Bank Audi. Managing and Monitoring many motorsports events taking place in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at Dirab multi-motorsports park.
