Cheb Jilani is a famous Libyan singer, who sings songs in several Arabic dialects, including Egyptian, Libyan and Lebanese.
His real name is Hussein Jilani, he was born in Tripoli, Libya, to an artistic family of musicians. Cheb Jilani started singing at the age of eleven, he sang great classical songs for legendary Arab singer Umm Kalthoum.
Cheb Jilani best album to-date was launched by EMI Music on the 30th of January 2003, the album was entitled Oyouni Sahara (My eyes are restless.
Some of his best songs include Wahishni, a duet song with singer Amira.
