Nabila Obeid also known as Nabila Ebid or Ebeed is a famous egyptian actress.

Nabila Obied was born on the 21st of January 1945 in Egypt.

Obied acting career started the moment Director Atef Salem discovered and introduced her in (No Understanding) film in 1962 in which she appeared as a silent performer.

In the year 1963 she took a main role in a movie called Rabaa El Adaweya, a very successful movie directed by Nyazy Mustafa, the movie made Nadia Obeed enter into the history of the Egyptian movies.

In 1965 Nabila Ebeed acted with Omar Alshreif in the historical film (The Mamaleek) which launched her to be the most famous movie star in the Arab world.
She produced films in which she acted e.g. (And She Fell in the Honey Sea) in 1977.

Nabila Ebeed had got the Best Actress Award in 1979 on her role in (Investigation is still going on) a film which was the beginning of many awards she had got.

She introduced some important movies for the Egyptian cinema like: (The Virgin and the White Hair) in 1983, (The Dancer and The Drummer) in 1984, (The suicide of the Apartment's owner) in 1986, (A Teacher's Assassination) in 1988, (The Dancer and The Politician) in 1990, (Tout Tout) in 1993, and (The Woman and the Cleaver) in 1997.
