Why is Nicolas El Osta Depressed?

Nicolas El Osta Biography

After a short lived success a few years back with his hit single “Farfeh Wghani”, Nkoula El Osta has been in a constant professional plunge. “But why!?” he keeps asking himself…

Every interview he makes only strengthens the existing image we have of him, that of a middle-aged, angry, jealous, self-mutilating man, always obsessed and angered by the success of his male colleagues (especially the good looking younger ones). It is as if he is in an invariable crisis, which seems to occasionally squirt out to the public whenever it has the occasion.

For some reason, he cannot tolerate male singers who have more sex-appeal than him (in modern standards of course, after all to each his taste!).

Is he that unsatisfied with his looks? Can that be his problem? ...Yes.

His problem is with his image, or shall I say the lack of one.

Everyone in the entertainment business should have acertain identity (the more original and authentic the better) which is usually easily reflected by the physical appearance. But why challenge those who have something he will never have? After all he is of a different age group. Yes I am talking about his psychosis with modern day sex appeal in men. Why doesn’t he just let them be, and focus instead on his work? Actually He tried to cope by adjusting his image and make it more modern, in vein... His looks and character just seem to reflect a more traditional, classical and old fashioned personality, with a certain “constipated” mentality.

Why does he always question the masculinity of any male singer who opts for a more sexed-up image? Why does he act this way? Is it out of desperation? I would just like to ask him (using his outdated standards): Isn’t singing a very un-masculine career altogether?? You cannot contradict yourself to that extent and expect us to take you seriously!! So please cool it down a notch…

Nkoula El Osta has a nice voice, but he doesn’t want to understand that even an excellent voice is not enough. After all, a singer is not just a soulless music instrument. You should have something more to offer and not necessarily sex appeal like you want so much to believe. You need personality, charm, charisma and perhaps a better choice of songs???
We hope that if you are still serious about coming back into the scene after all this time in the dark, to come back at least with something that would shut us up. Like a good song…good luck.
