Peter Medawar

Peter Medawar was born on the 28th of February 1915 in Rio de Janeiro.

Peter Medawar came from a Lebanese father and a British mother. Peter Medawar fame was a due to his work on how the immune system accepts or rejects tissue transplants.

Peter Medawar along with Frank Macfarlane Burnet won the 1960 Nobel Prize for Physiology and Medicine.

Peter Midawar died on the 2nd of October 1987.
