Ruby Rubacuori, known as Ruby, is a Moroccan belly dancer and showgirl based in Italy. Ruby became famous after getting involved in Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi’s private life. The scandal has been dubbed Rubygate in the press.

Although her stage name is Ruby, her real name is actually Karima el-Mahroug (aka Karima Keyek) under which you will find more information.

Ruby Rubacuori was for a while a popular figure in the Italian tabloids that interviewed her and circulated her personal stories.

Ruby Rubacuori is not to be confused with Egyptian belly dancer and singer Rouby.

Ruby Rubacuori is Italian for "Ruby Heart-stealer".
