Samir Tahar

Samir Tahar is a singer and a Oud musician. He is considered as one of the most important musicians to compose for Maghreb music and the Middle East.

Samir Tahar was born in Mostaganem, a city in Algeria known for its arts and culture.

Samir Tahar had been exposed to music since he was a child, his education in music moved him from Algeria to Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia.

Samir Tahar can be identified with his rich and tender play of the Oud, accompanied with powerful moments which add glamour to his compositions.
