Simran Kaur Mundi is the Miss India 2008 runner-up she was born in Punjab india in 1986. She was crowned Pantaloons Femina Miss India Universe 2008 in Mumbai on 5th April 2008. She is also a very good painter.
On the 13th of July 2008 Simran Kaur Mundi represented India in Miss Universe 2008 which took place in the Diamond Bay Resort in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
Simran Kaur Mundi got crowned as Miss India Universe 2008 at a special event which took place at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai.
During the big event Parvathy Omanakuttan was named as Miss India 2008 while second runner-up Harshita Saxena was titled Miss India Earth 2008. Due to earlier contracts with another pageant named GLADRAGS, Harshita had to give up her role, which resulted in a new Miss India Earth, Tanvi Vyas.
