Lebanon Israel 2006 War

Lebanon Israel 2006 War

Around the first week of July 2006, The Hezbollah captured two Israeli soldiers. Thousands of Hezbollah supporters went into the streets on Wednesday of that month celebrating the capture of those two Israeli soldiers. Playing fireworks and honking car horns throughout areas in the South, Bekaa Valley and Beirut's southern suburbs were Shiite mostly dominate.

While they were playing fireworks, they were playing with fire. Israel was not happy with this move and threatened to bomb Hezbollah and all their allies. Hezbollah fired back at Haifa in northern Israel, so Israel bombed the Hariri international Beirut airport, its fuel tanks. Two other airports in north Lebanon and bekaa area was hit too.

Days followed and many bridges and some civilian areas where Hezbollah could be found were targeted too.

No one could foresee what could happen next and how fierce this war could reach.
