The Lebanese on the morning of 23 January 2007 were not able to go to work or resume their regular life.

Uncivilized Protests which can only be described as Terrorism in the name of Democracy swept the small country from its north to its south.

Tires and Cars were being burnt across the highways. Protestors also stood in the middle of the roads to stop the Lebanese from going to work.

Smoke and unhealthy fumes filled Beirut and its territories adding to the complication of the situation.

While the Lebanese Security Forces and the Lebanese Army strives to protect and stand between Hezbollah and Aoun Supporters from one side and the Future Movement (Hariri Group) and the Lebanese Forces on the other side.

The Lebanese International Airport had to cancel all the flights since no passengers can reach the airport, not even by foot.

Witnesses on the main road linking Byblos with the town of Halat, have said that two more people have been wounded when gunmen fired at a group of opposition followers trying to block the highway.

Other sources have reported that least two more people were wounded when gunmen fired at people trying to block the roads at dawn.

Later in the day some of the blocked roads were opened leaving few dead and many injured.

A lot of reports of fights among the Aounists who blocked the roads and Lebanese who want to go to work.

As if the July 2006 was not enough for this small country, as if we need more negativity and disgrace. It’s a shame our beautiful Lebanon dies everyday a little bit more.

Is Lebanon on the verge of a civil war? Lets not make that happen. We want to live.
