Danny Gokey

Danny Gokey also known as Dany Gokey or Dani Goky is one of the top-12 contestants of American Idol 8, a televised talent show which airs of Fox Channel. Danny Gokey is church music director and music teacher from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Danny Gokey is also the founder and president of a non profit organization.

Danny Gokey sings very well, also he plays the piano and loves salsa.

Danny Gokey's wife passed away just four weeks before his audition at American Idol 8.

On the 18th of February 2009, Danny Gokey was in the first group of 12 contestants to perform out of the top 36 and was one of the highest three vote getters, guaranteeing him a spot in the top 12 finalists.

Danny Gokey was best friends with Jamar Rogers another contestant from season 8, who made it to the top 54 before leaving.
