Jasmine Murray

Jasmine Murray was sixteen years old when she auditioned for American Idol season 8, She auditioned for American idol in Jacksonville, Florida.

During her audition, Jasmine Murray sang Big Girls Don't Cry, She performed so well that she was selected to go to Hollywood.

In Hollywood, Jasmine was selected in the top 36 but did not receive enough votes to secure her a spot among the top 13 finalists. Because of her outstanding voice, and during the wild card show, Jasmine Murray was selected to join the top 13 contestants.

Jasmine Murray was born in Columbus, Mississippi, however she lives in Starkville, Mississippi. Jasmine Murray started singing on stage since the age
of three.

Jasmine Murray is a high school student who attends The Mississippi School of the Arts.
